It’s the golden ticket for Broadway lovers.
Theater fans who buy tickets from the famed TKTS discount booth in Times Square could win a $100 gift card through a promotion that’s set to begin next Tuesday, the not-for-profit Theatre Development Fund announced Thursday.
The “TKTS Tuesdays” promotion will award a gift card to the 100th customer at that booth every Tuesday throughout the summer.
The Theatre Development Fund, which launched in 1968, supports the arts industry in New York City and runs the TKTS ticket booths that offer same-day discounts to theatergoers.

New York’s primary TKTS booth, which is handing out the weekly gift card, is in Duffy Square, located on 47th Street and Broadway.
That booth is open from 3-8 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday and Friday; 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday; and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sundays.
Broadway shows reopened last year after being shuttered for 18 months due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The closures also presented challenges for businesses and restaurants in Times Square that are typically buoyed by theater rush.
“The Lion King,” “Hamilton” and “Wicked” were among the first shows to return last September, while buzzy musicals “Six,” which centers on the six wives of King Henry VIII, and “The Music Man,” which stars Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster, have opened since.
